question about a wireless connection and xbox live?

okay,im using a wireless connection in my house on an unsecured wireless connection.it connects fine so,if i were to get an xbox 360 wireless adaptor would it be able to get online with that connection.

First: Xbox Gold Membership does cost money. However you will have to buy a subscription card or so. Regular connection to live does not cost money

Difference between Gold membership and regular live
In Gold, you will be able to play online with others
Regular, you cannot play online, however you can still download stuff and use the marketplace.

Second, it depends if the wireless connection is good or bad. If it is bad, then i suggest not using that connection because it may not even reach the signal.

It's better to just get a local internet connection. You can buy a router or a modem and just plug in an ethernet cord into it from your xbox.
