What is a good alternative to a wireless router for Xbox 360?

I am another person trying to find a cheap way to get Xbox Live. I use my current router using cables, but do not want the hassle involed when using a cable. my idea is a product that comes in two parts in which 1 piece to connect into the router, and want to connect another piece on my 360, and 2 parts communicate wirelessly. almost be called a thread "son". if anyone knows of a product similar to that just described, please help.

There is not as for a wired router and also if such devices are likely to cost you a little. There is nothing wrong with Ethernet connection: It is faster than wireless, cheaper and more reliable. If you want to go wireless, you need Wireless Adapter for Xbox 360 and a wireless router.
